About me

My path in art started at the age of five as I entered Lysenko Music School, the junior school of Chaikovskiy National Music Academy of the Ukraine. My teachers were Liudmyla Ovcharenko and Bohdan Denysko. I play viola, violin and piano, but viola is my favorite one.

After school I entered the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy to major in viola in the classes of Viktor Zimin and Bronislav Shchutskiy, a Merited Artist of Ukraine. I graduated from the Academy with a Master in Music entitling me to teach at schools and universities, play in chamber ensembles and orchestras.

In 2006, I won a competition to participate in the Internationales Musikforum Trenta master class in Slovenia supported by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and took classes with the world renowned Vienna Philharmonic soloists Elmar Landerer and Prof. Peter Götzel. Later that same year I was invited to play in the final concert of the master class along with other winners in the famous Musikverein” hall in Vienna, Austria.

In 2006-2008, I worked at the “Muzyka“ academic symphony assembly of orchestras of the Ukrainian National Radio Company and played in projects of the Ukrainian National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.

Since 2009, I have been working as a concertmaster at the Chamber Ensemble Department, Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of the Ukraine. Also, I give private viola classes and perform solo, and play in ensembles and orchestras in the Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Austria, Netherlands, and Belgium. Also, I play in the Nostra Temporis modern music ensemble and Obiymy Doshchu”, the rain embrace, a Ukrainian rock band.

I have got a wide range of activities and enjoy all kinds of music. I play both classical and modern music. For me music is not only a profession! It’s love for the beautiful and for art. It’s experience, a search of harmony, an exciting adventure! Music is the language of emotions opening the way to every heart!
